Hearts & Hands in Action - St. Lawrence of Brindisi

Rectory Garden Project - Volunteers of all ages are welcome to help restore the garden at the St. Lawrence of Brindisi rectory.  Volunteers should bring gloves, and hand tools for weeding and pruning.  A maximum of twelve (25) volunteers are needed.  Meet at American Martyrs to carpool to SLB at 9:30 am.  The work should be completed in 3-4 hours.

Volunteers make sandwiches, assemble bag lunches, and family-sized toiletry kits, sort through clothing donations, load & deliver food donations to SLB Food Pantry, and bring books to distribute, and read with the children during the lunch & clothing distribution.  We travel to our sister parish, St. Lawrence of Brindisi (SLB) via carpool or private transportation, and distribute the gently used clothing, lunches and toiletry kits to members of the SLB community.  Volunteers enjoy interaction with regulars and newbies, all of whom are very grateful for our presence, friendship and support of their basic needs.  Please join us!
